Rischio territoriale e patrimonio culturale: prevenzione e rigenerazione del patrimonio culturale diffuso di interesse religioso
The Workshop "Territorial Risk and Cultural Heritage" involved students of the Master course in Territorial, Urban, Environmental and Landscape Planning of Politecnico di Torino [https://didattica.polito.it/laurea_magistrale/pianificazione/it/il_nostro_corso].
It was conducted through classroom lessons and trough in situ activities in some rural settlements in the Diocese of Parma that are characterized by many ecclesiastical churches subject to several kind of risk (above all landslides and seismic risk) and to depopulation phenomena. The workshop was aimed to provide historical and territorial knowledge and planning contributions in collaboration with the local institution. Moreover, in order to apply the knowledge about the territory and the risks to the local perception of cultural and landscape values, several survey and participation activities were conducted with local communities. Students were asked to work on the theme of the risk prevention and safeguard of religious cultural heritage in a large-scale planning perspective, trying to develop governance strategies in accordance with the local communities.
