TG3 Leonardo on Prof. Gili's surveying airship proposal
Interviewed for the famous italian tv programme TG3 Leonardo, Prof Piero Gili describes
the ongoing researches of R3C for the design of a remote controlled airship for the
monitoring of large rural and urban areas. The aim is to produce an eco-friendly and economically convenient
alternative to helicopter and airplane land surveys, able to carry a large payload of
different sensing devices - ranging from hyperspectral sensors to thermal and HD cameras and instruments
for 3-D laser scanning.
